There are so many ways to learn these days. And you don’t need to pay for an expensive University course. If you have limited time, can only commit to evenings or when the baby naps, then definitely have a look at these online learning platforms. They make learning easy, and are great for gaining new skills before heading back to work!

Some of the best platforms include:

  1. FutureLearn
  2. Coursera
  3. Udemy

  5. Alison
  6. edX
  7. John Academy

I’ve gone into more detail about my favourite ones to use below.

FutureLearn

FutureLearn is a massive open online course (MOOC) learning platform, offering hundreds of free courses. I love the format because you can go at your own pace, learn when you have time and get as much out of the course as you want. Learn how to become an entrepreneur, or improve your coding skills with an online course from FutureLearn. Join for free.

Coursera

Another MOOC learning platform I like is Coursera. I’d say the audience is more American but there are still so many relevant courses to have a look through. Coursera courses are also on demand, lasting around four to ten weeks. The content is typically delivered through video or texts to read, and you are encouraged to participate in quizzes and exercises. Choose from hundreds of online business courses.

John Academy

John Academy is another e-learning provider with a range of courses ranging from business to beauty, accounting to animal care. There’s loads on offer and courses range from free to “paid for” courses. Take advantage of a discount by clicking here:

Udemy

Udemy.com is the world’s largest online learning platform with over 50 million students! That’s just loads! They offer hundreds of courses, ranging from business and design to IT and marketing. There’s something for everyone, no matter how much time you have to learn around the kids. And that’s the reality nowadays. I like to learn when I have time and can commit.

What was your experience? To note, this isn’t a sponsored post or review. It’s simply me sharing the platforms which I really like!
