9 Unique Christmas Gift Ideas for Busy Mums!
Hey and welcome to the blog! It’s that time of year again. Yep, time to start thinking about Christmas! Have you done any shopping yet? I haven’t really started to be honest. I’ve popped a few things in the trolley for the kids but that’s about it. Mr D has asked me what I want too – and I have a few ideas. So today I’m bringing you a few gifts, perfect for busy mums.
First up we have this absolutely beautiful saddle bag from Scaramanga. If you’re a busy mum then you know how important a good handbag is! Sure, most days my outfit is complete with a change bag but it’s nice to have a few go-to handbags for when a special occasion crops up! And I adore this saddle bag. It’s just the right size for fitting in all the essentials.
I love the small pocket on the outside – perfect for lip balm and chewing gum. The inside is spacious and the leather strap can be placed across the body or over the shoulder. This will be perfect for when I’m back to work.
Although this may seem a little bit random, this very cute toilet roll holder is perfect for any mum looking to keep organised in the new year! The Baabara toilet paper holder sheep is cute, stylish and just a little bit different. It would look good in any bathroom and is a great alternative to just stacking your loo rolls up in the corner.
The holder can store seven toilet rolls, as shown in the image above. Baabara sheep can be hung on the wall or used freestanding. I’ve popped her standing in our downstairs toilet.
I know it’s a bit of a cliche but I do love a good candle! And I absolutely love the range of Wickford candles – especially this Gingerbread scented candle. It’s fab for filling the whole home with a Christmassy feel!
Neals Yard Products
If you’re looking for luxury skincare then take a look at Neals Yard this year. I’m in love with the Frankincense facial oil. It smells divine and feels amazing on my skin.
I find their skincare range perfect for keeping my skin soft and clean. With the kids, it can be a bit stressy getting ready on a morning. I love using the serum just before bed though. It really feels like it works it’s magic overnight!
Jewellery from Etsy
You can’t go wrong with a gift that says you really thought about the recipient. I absolutely love Etsy for finding unique gifts. My husband bought me some beautiful cat earrings for my birthday recently, and a very cute cat necklace to compliment it
If you want something a bit different then Etsy is definitely worth a look.
Personalised Photo Gifts
Another fab idea if you’re looking for something special is a personalised photo gift. Now I’ve just made B a book of Jerry – so images of the cat we lost last year. They were best friends. It will either make him smile or cry. Personally I’m not into the mugs and T-shirt type gifts. But I do love a photo book. It really says that someone thought about me and took the time to make a gift.
There’s nothing I like more than a relaxing shower or bath. I’m on the go all the time so a few minutes of me-time can really make the difference. I love these cute bath bombs.
If anyone knows me well, they know I love my cats. These cat socks would make the perfect stocking filler for any cat-mad mum!
The Obligatory Notebook
Ah, you can’t be organised without a notebook right?! And I love this cute A5 organiser on Amazon at the moment.
