How to Keep Meal Planning on Track with the Linx 8 Tablet
Ok so we’re a few days into 2018 and already I feel like I’m failing at keeping my New Year’s resolutions. I said I wouldn’t make any firm ones but I do want to make some positive changes to our lifestyle this year. Along with everyone else and their dog ey!
For me, meal planning has always been a massive chore and I’ve never really embraced it. This is one area of our life that I want to work on this year.
To help me stick to my resolutions and aims, I’m using the Linx 8″ 32GB WiFi Tablet. I’m hoping that by using a tablet, I can keep up with meal planning by February! Today on the blog I’m sharing with you some of the ways I’m using my tablet to help make meal planning that bit easier!
This Linx tablet has a 2 megapixel camera so it’s ideal for snapping any photos of recipes in magazines. I don’t know about you but I find if I rip a recipe out of a magazine, it never sees the light of day.
By taking a photo of the recipe, I can store it away to use as and when I need.
Browse During Down Time
The Linx 8 has a seven hour battery life, so you can use it on-the-go, planning meals on your commute or while wasting time waiting. I find in places like the doctors and dentists, there is always that down time where I can be doing something productive.
Watch The Pros
The Linx 8 features a HD screen, meaning you get great picture quality when watching catch-up TV or online videos. I always love those Facebook videos that run through a whole recipe in a minute or two. I tend to save them and come back later to try them out.
Windows 10 Apps
This particular model runs Windows 10 so you get all the Office apps that you might already be familiar with. I love Word and Excel for keeping organised, and these are great for creating a weekly planner to track your meals and vary things up.
How are you getting on with any resolutions? Did you make any or did you give up before starting?!
