I recently did a write up on advent calendars for kids and it got me thinking, why should they have all the fun?! Today I’m sharing some of my favourite advent calendars for the mums! Beware, they are pricey and range anywhere from £25 to nearly £200!
Yep…that’s what I thought…
Anyway go with. If money wasn’t an issue, which one would you pick?!
The number one calendar this year that everyone’s been talking about! The ALDI wine calendar. Now if you don’t wanna spend fifty quid then take a read here about making your own. This is literally the perfect calendar for mums who love wine! The Christmas countdown contains 24 bottles of red, white, rose and fizz, with everything from Merlot to Chablis. Perfect for every evening!
If you’re after a beauty-filled calendar then this one from ASOS isn’t too bad for the price of £55. You get 24 beauty products and a door 25 which contains a discount code to use online. There’s a mix of skincare and make-up products as well as hair care too. A perfect all-rounder!
If you really want to push the boat out and have a spare £165 then you can’t go wrong with a Molton Brown calendar! I absolutely love Molton Brown and am so tempted! The classic red and green colours look lovely and I imagine the contents smell divine. This calendar includes loads of miniatures, from body washes and lotions, to candles and hair care. It also includes one of their festive bauble body washes too.
This next advent calendar is perfect if you’re a fan of the Decléor range. There are 24 hidden beauty treats behind each door, including three full size products too.
This John Lewis tealight advent calendar looks so festive and comes with 24 scented tealights. Last year I had a candle calendar and it was lovely to light a new scent each evening. The price isn’t too bad either at £25.
At just under a hundred quid, this advent calendar isn’t cheap. But if you’re a gin fan and fancy treating yourself then why not ey. Behind each of the 24 windows is a different 30ml dram of gin. The perfect way for welcoming in Christmas!
Are you going mad this year with an advent calendar? Or is it just another retail ploy to get us all to spend more bloody money?! I think I might stick to my 99p chocolate one!
