Today I share with you a recipe that is quick to make, uses up leftovers and is light on the purse strings – Ham and Chicken Pasta Carbonara. For this delicious carbonara, I’m going to show you how pre-cooked ham and chicken by Welly Foods works really well for super quick meals!

So what do you need for this tasty carbonara?
You will need
- WELLY Wafer Thin Roast Chicken
- WELLY Wafer Thin Honey Roast Ham
- Cream cheese – Anything from Philadelphia to own brand will work
- A splash of milk (about 30-50mls)
- 100 grams Frozen peas
- 50 grams of grated cheese or parmesan to sprinkle on top
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Teaspoon of English mustard (optional)
- Garlic – one or two cloves should be plenty (optional)
- Half an onion – chopped (optional)
To make this WELLY ham and chicken pasta Carbonara, boil your pasta as per the instructions on the packet.
About 3 minutes before it’s finished, pop in a handful of frozen peas.
If you want to add onion and garlic, fry it in a pan until it looks translucent.
Chop up your WELLY ham and chicken.
Once cooked, drain your pasta and peas and pop them back into the pan.
Add the cream cheese, milk, WELLY ham, WELLY chicken, and if you’re using them, the onions, garlic and mustard, to the saucepan.
Stir and heat through. It’s that simple!
