Do you want to make something super easy to impress your loved one this Valentine’s? Or any time of the year to be honest? Then look no further because today on the blog I share with you a quick and easy recipe for Red Velvet Valentine Truffles.
Everything you need to make red velvet valentine’s truffles!
All you need to make these tasty truffles is the following:
• Red velvet cookies/biscuits. I use some from Fox biscuits and the pack was 168g
• 50-60g of Cream cheese
• White chocolate
• Pink or red sprinkles
And that’s it. Four ingredients. Simple.
To start, whizz your cookies up in a blender so they resemble a cookie crumble mix. Like this:
Add the crumble to a mixing bowl and add the cream cheese. Give it a good mix using the back of a spoon. It takes a couple of minutes to really get the crumble and cheese to mix well.
Once you’ve mixed it, you should have something like this:
Now for the messy part. Make sure your hands are clean. Use a spoon to dig out a small amount of the mixture. Roll it on your hands to form a small ball. Place these on a baking sheet.
Place the balls in the fridge for half an hour, so they’re not to sticky.
After half an hour, take them from the fridge and melt your white chocolate. I melt it in the microwave but use any method you prefer.

Dip each ball into the white chocolate, shaking off as much excess chocolate as you can. You want to do this fairly quickly otherwise the warm chocolate will make the balls all squidgy again.
Pop them on a baking tray to set and sprinkle over your sprinkles.
Pop them in the fridge to let the chocolate set
And there you go, yummy Red Velvet Valentine Truffles!
