Christmas is over and it is well and truly back to work, school, nursery or the same old – whatever you do all day. Today on the blog, me and b share with you a very simple lunch.
It takes all of five minutes to prep and has maximum impact. Perfect for picky eaters and fussy toddlers. If you are after more simple but fun lunch ideas then take a peek here too.
Today we make zoom zoom racing car sandwiches 🙂 All you need for these is the following:
1 slice of bread
A sandwich filling
4 slices of carrot
4 slices of cucumber
2 grapes, halved
Make up a normal sandwich with whatever filling you fancy. We used ham here.
I made a sarnie using one slice of bread, cutting of the bread and slicing the sandwich into three pieces. Here:
Turn your sandwiches on their sides like this:
And add the wheels. When I say wheels I mean the carrots, cucumber and grapes. You could use lots of other round shaped fruits and veggies though – peppers, tomatoes, sliced apple.
And there you have it, zoom zoom racing car sandwich fun in minutes. If you have a car mad toddler then give it a go and let me know how you get on in the comments!
If you enjoyed our car sarnies, don’t forget to share them and make your friends smile 🙂
