Hello and welcome to a brand new week! How’s things going? We’ve been super busy at the me and b hq but today we want to share with you FIVE of our favourite toddler lunch ideas. Now remember, I’m not super mum and I don’t have loads of time on my hands. All these lunch ideas didn’t take long to prep – just five minutes or so to think of the idea! But lucky for you, I already did that and share with you how to make these cute lunches from scratch.
My absolute favourite fun lunch is this Harold Helicopter sandwich. And he really wasn’t difficult to make. It’s just about getting the right shapes. I also recommend an edible food pen to add detail quickly if you want to get more creative with toddler food.
Next up, this tractor sandwich was really easy to make and went down well with my boy. Any vehicles are fairly easy to make with sandwiches. Slice your sandwich into squares or rectangles and use tomatoes and cucumber slices as wheels.
If you have a Star Wars fan in the family then this BB8 sandwich should be a hit. I made this using cookie cutters, blueberries and orange pepper. Again I use the edible food pen to add detail.
If you’re feeling creative with veggies then try making these cute bicycles. These were inspired over the summer time, similar to these Olympic inspired snacks. I pretty much just sliced up peppers, cheese, cucumber and carrots to make these bikes.
Now this one is a bit elaborate and did take me longer than five minutes but it’s super cute. If you have a child interested in the world around them then it’s worth a try! We pretty much made the world out of food!! Chicken, sausages, cheese and veggies – a bit of everything : ) Although someone did complain that I’d missed of Italy. I mean geez, give me a break ey! So apologies if I missed your country – go make your own food map hehe : )
Well there we go. A collection of our favourite me and b fun lunches! Have you tried any fun or novelty food to try and entice your little ones to eat?! Share with me in the comments and don’t forget to pin away!
