Breakfast Cereal For Train Mad Toddlers!
My son is absolutely train mad. We can’t go anywhere these days without stumbling on a miniature railway and having a go! Hence today’s “T” post for the A to Z Challenge is all about trains! To be honest it is a bit of a naff “fun food” post. It required zero effort and the train carriages aren’t even joined!
We’ve just go back from holiday and I haven’t had a whole lot of time to think about making a train out of food. Instead I thought I’d try making a “train” from our cupcake cases and filling them with cereal and milk. Little b has been a little monkey all week with eating breakfast. As in he hasn’t. And then we get out and he wants snacks. Erm no buddy, it doesn’t work like that. So today we made a cereal train. I filled the “carriages” with different cereal, used grapes for wheels, marshmallows for steam and a small gingerbread man as the driver.
We also played the “I bet he won’t eat that!” trick and he ate most of his train! Whoop whoop!
Zero Effort Breakfasts!
So even though it took zero effort and looked pants (in my opinion), little b loved it and, more importantly, ate it!
And of course, pin these fun food ideas for later!
