Make Snack Time Fun with Koala Bears!

Now I’m not sure if our koala looks like a koala or more like a panda! What do you think?! Either way, he is cute and the boy agreed! Although I still think the BB8 sandwich and Harold Helicopter snack still gets his top vote!

Make your own Koala Bear!

To make a koala snack you could use the following:

Bread, rice cakes or crackers for the head and body. And you could spread anything on them too – honey, peanut butter, cheese spread – the choice is yours.

Blueberries for eyes and ears. Raisins would work.

Fruity paws

A large red grape, sliced in half works perfect for a nose, hands and feet. Well paws…

And then add some greenery. I don’t usually serve asparagus as a snack but they were in the fridge and make fantastic bamboos! Don’t you think?!

You could use some kiwi fruit, sliced grapes or cucumber sticks though if you don’t fancy serving asparagus.

And there he is – our cute little koala bear.

  1. That has got to be the most artistic meal I have potentially ever seen. I wish I had seen this when my son was two and lived off bread and yoghurt as he would not eat anything. Now he is 4 and only likes beige food. Your little one has a very creative mummy!I think I need to get a bit more inventive, you have inspired me! #bloggerclubuk
