Fruit Salad Ideas for Picky Eaters and Fussy Toddlers!
You can’t go wrong with a fruit salad. Select random bits of fruit, chop up into small pieces and serve. Easy peasy. Well it is, but here are a few alternatives to making a fruit salad. It’s nice to mix it up a bit if you have the time!
We use a variety of food picks and mini skewers to “kebab” our fruit. You can find these in supermarkets and pound shops. For some kebab inspiration, check out this post here. It was inspired during Bonfire season but you could make fruit kebabs at anytime of the year!
We love using watermelon as a base for our fruit pizzas. Pop on any topping you fancy! We have a mix of grapes, strawberries and blueberries here. And I sprinkled some hundreds and thousands and a bit of dry coconut to make it look like “cheese”. For a full write up, take a look here. It isn’t very complicated though to be honest !
