We all have them, our fave beauty products. The things we rely on in times of need. Since becoming a mamma, I’ve found a few products that I wouldn’t be without. Do you have a few essentials in your handbag too? What things couldn’t you live without?
Here is a little collection of my favourite beauty items. I’ve purchased all these products myself and all my reviews are honest.
1 – Dry shampoo
Pre b I used to wash my hair pretty much every day. Post b, I really don’t have time for that. The washing, drying, straightening. It takes time away from Netflix and blogging! So with that in mind, I wouldn’t be without my dry shampoo. Batiste being my fave. And I pop it in before bed otherwise I find if you spray it on in the morning, it makes your hair look dull and grey. And I really don’t need more grey!
2 – Good shampoo
I figure if I’m gonna wash my hair less, when I do wash it, I’m gonna wash it good. And my fave shampoo right now is called by Kind Natured, in Boots. I’ve actually run out so didn’t include it in the photo. They do a lovely range and they all smell completely divine!
3 – Concealer
Since losing vast amounts of sleep, I wouldn’t be without concealer. My fave being the Bourjois Healthy Mix concealer. To be honest I get through so much of this that I would probably be better off with a paper bag over my head. It would sort the hair problems too and it would be cheaper.
4 – Facial Oil
A complete lifesaver for my dry, chapped skin, exposed to too many playgrounds and farm parks on winter days. The one I love the most at the mo is Rejuvenating Frankincense Facial Oil by Neal’s Yard. I never used any of their products before but my mum worked in a shop next door and used to pick up bits. She popped a bottle in my stocking and I don’t think I’d look back now!
5 – Hand Cream
With all the wet wipes, hand washing and cleaning, hand cream for me is an absolute must. I have it at home, in the bathrooms, in my handbag and on my desk. Wouldn’t be without it. At the mo I’m loving these mini Laura Ashley creams as they are great for a handbag/change bag and they smell lush.
